About this file

This statement of work outlines requirements for a ground station modem to support design and testing of current and future NASA missions. The modem must support downlink demodulation of BPSK, QPSK, and GMSK modulation types from 1 kbps to 40 Mbps, as well as uplink modulation of PM, FM, BPSK, QPSK, and GMSK from 10 bps to 2.6 Mbps. Additional requirements include compatibility with NASA DTE ground stations, support for ranging standards like ESA-Tone and CCSDS protocols, integrated frequency conversion from 70 MHz to 2.4 GHz, and measurement of BER, Eb/N0, frequency, and Doppler. The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice from NASA for the CORTEX CRT opportunity, but no further details are provided.
