About this file
This statement of work outlines requirements for the procurement of an annual Object Management Group (OMG) membership. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) seeks domain-level membership to allow it to submit and contribute to standards development, participate in working groups and task forces, vote on standards, and attend quarterly technical meetings and special events. The membership would provide NASA with newsletters, notifications, and access to votes, events, and upcoming meetings. The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation posted by NASA's National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center seeking an OMG membership to support NASA's data standards and space communications efforts.

Statement of Work for the procurement of
Annual Object Management Group (OMG) Membership
The OMG is an international not‐for‐profit software consortium that develops standards across a wide range of domains. Recent NASA interests have included support of the Space Domain
Task Force, software defined radio standards, and system modeling tools. Membership in the
OMG is part of the overall NASA Data Standards Program effort under the Space
Communications and Navigation (SCaN) office.
With NASA’s procurement of the Domain‐Level membership, the OMG shall:
Allow NASA to submit draft standards for consideration.
Allow NASA to contribute to the development and review of standards.
Allow NASA to participate in OMG working groups and task force meetings.
Allow NASA to vote on standards, as appropriate, throughout their approval cycle.
Allow NASA to register for, and attend, the quarterly OMG technical meetings
(additional conference/meeting charges apply).
Provide NASA with a regular newsletter and special notifications regarding votes, special events, press releases and upcoming meetings.
