3.1.1. The pump shall have an operator control panel, which provides the following features:

3.1.1.1. Warning displays. The displays will indicate and the pump will shut down if automatic sensors indicate low inlet water pressure, and low pump oil pressure.

3.1.1.2. An emergency stop button, that stops all machine functions and activates a high pressure bleed down valve to relieve system pressure to 0 psi within 5 second. Pressure shall be relieved in the pump and attached UHP hoses.

3.1.1.2.1. 250ft of cord to allow personnel to move E-Stop to active work station in case of emergency

3.1.1.3. Diesel or Electric motor off/run/start switch

3.1.1.4. Inlet water shall pass through a booster pump and be filtered. Pressure gauges shall be included on the inlet side and the outlet side of the filter to indicate when the filter needs maintenance.

3.1.1.5. A means of safety relief of the pump's water pressure if the pressure exceeds

110% of the machines maximum working pressure.

3.1.1.6. The unit shall have lines provided as part of the basic system which can be used 150 feet away from the pump system. With, three appropriately sized lines and a block to sustain 20 GPM.

3.1.2. Electric powered

3.1.2.1. Operating Pressure: 0 – 20,000PSI

3.1.2.2. Flow Rate 20 GPM

3.1.2.3. The pump shall be powered by a single electric motor. The electric motor shall conform to the standards established in NEC with label plate attached.

4.1.1.1. The quality of the water used in the pumps shall be considered “potable” and upon request from the vendor, a sample proving so will be provided.

4.1.2. Maintenance

4.1.2.1. The government shall be responsible for all daily checks (temperature, fluid levels, etc).

Rev: B Page 3 of 5

4.1.2.2. Any minor maintenance that the vendor has agreed that the government is permitted to perform on the pump units (ex. filter changes).

4.1.2.2.1. All maintenance performed by a government employee shall be performed by a qualified individual.
