STATEMENT OF WORK
Annual Water Operator Contract
FCC Terre Haute has the need to contract Water Operator Services. Water Operator Services to comply with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management Framework required by law for operating a water plant. The Contracted Water Operators must maintain certified DSL and WT3 licensed by Indiana Department of Environmental Management throughout the life of the contract. Water Operators must show proof of certification DSL and WT3 licensed by Indiana Department of Environmental Management throughout the life of the contract. If at any time Water Operators certified DSL and WT3 license has become under review, suspended, or revoked for any reason by Indiana Department of Environmental Management or the Environmental Protection Agency the contractor will notify FCC Terre Haute immediately upon notification of the review, suspended, or revoked certification throughout the life of the contract. The Water Operator will provide EPA/IDEM compliant chlorine residual testing at both distribution and water plant five days a week for one hour daily and four hours for any inspections for a duration of ten months form December 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025. They also provide EPA/IDEM compliant iron, finished iron, raw manganese, and finished manganese testing at the water plant five days per week and compile and sign monthly report to include: daily testing results, Lbs. chlorine, and potassium permanganate used and daily flow totals. Ensure that all testing requirements for the standard monitoring framework are completed before sending to IDEM. The Complex will be responsible for the mailing of the requirements to IDEM.
The service is a contractual arrangement and not a personnel appointment. Payment is based on the provision of an end product or the accomplishment of a specific result. The service does not constitute an employer/employee relationship. The contractor will not be subject to Government supervision, except for security related matters. However, contractor performance shall be monitored.
