Pump Motor Service Statement of Work

USDA ARS Plant Germplasm Introduction and Testing Western Region Plant Introduction Station (WRPIS) Central Ferry Research Farm 639 Hastings Hill Rd Pomeroy WA 99347

Statement of Work Removal, service, any repairs and reset of 150 HP turbine pump motor, a 20HP pump and motor, and a Yaskawa variable frequency drive by a certified electrician with proper removal equipment.

Duties included and are not limited to:

1. De-energize power to 150HP pump motor, removing pump shade, unwire and removal, making accurate calculations to the pump bowl gap. Removal of 20HP pump and motor, and removal or service in-place the VFD drive.

2. Transport the motors and VFD to a business that does electric servicing and repairs.

3. Have both motors and VFD completely and thoroughly serviced by that company, notifying of any additional work needed to be done by that business to the federal purchasing agent before the additional repairs are started for increased cost assessment.

4. After servicing and any needed repairs are done, return the items to the Central Ferry Research Farm at 639 Hastings Hill Rd., Pomeroy, WA, place it on the well, reconnect electrical wire and set the irrigation bowl gap to proper standards in well technology. Return the pump shade back to its original position.
