CME-850X Drill Rig Rewiring

Scope of Work The Geotechnical Branch of the Corps of Engineers requires the rewiring of the CME-850 X Drill Rig. This Drill Rig is made by Central Mine Equipment (CME) and requires CME certified mechanics from an authorized CME service dealer to perform the rewiring in order to receive a factory warranty on the CME Drill Rig. The components listed under the CME Certified rewiring Program shall be completely disassembled. All other parts are required to be inspected and measured against the CME reusability guidelines. All parts will be replaced with CME parts or shall be reconditioned to meet CME specifications if applicable. All requirements are listed below:

•Receive unit.

•Remove all old wiring •replace with new wiring

Warranty Requirements

• 90 days CME warranty on all items replaced/reconditioned

Dealer Qualifications

• Dealer shall have capabilities of performing 90% of all work in house reducing the need for 3rd party companies to complete rebuild scope of work in time frame allowed and controlling the quality of work performed.

Transportation The Geotechnical Branch is responsible for transportation to and from the facility where work will take place.

Period of Performance All work shall be completed within 60 days after the contractor has possession of the machine.

Security Requirements The Contractor must pre-screen Candidates using the E-verify Program (http://www.uscis.gov/e-verify) website to meet the established employment eligibility requirements. The Vendor must ensure that the Candidate has two valid forms of Government issued identification prior to enrollment to ensure the correct information is entered into the E-verify system. An initial list of verified/eligible Candidates must be provided to the COR no later than 3 business days after the initial contract award." *When contracts are with individuals, the individuals will be required to complete a Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, with the designated Government representative. This form will be provided to the Contracting Officer and shall become part of the official contract file.
