STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
FOR
U.S. Coast Guard Station NOYO River 19325 S. Harbor Dr.
For Bragg, CA. 95437

1. SCOPE: Contractor shall provide general labor, equipment, and facilities to haul out US Coast Guard 47 FT Motor Lifeboat (MLB) 47271 to complete a hull inspection, a forward deck welding repair, recoat all paint and protective coatings, and renew/replace port main diesel engine. See attachments for all applicable instructions, schedules, and plans.
2. COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION, AND COMPLETION OF WORK: Upon acceptance, the contractor shall commence work within 21 days and work diligently to complete the entire project and have vessel ready for use by 10 working days from scheduled haul out after contract award.
3. INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

2. Length Overall 48’ 11” (w/ rub rails)
3. Hull Beam 14’ 0” Beam Overall 15’ 0”
4. Highest Points: Fixed 18’ 6”, Unfixed 28’ 4”
5. Hoisting condition 40,000 LBS (boat, full fuel, outfit; no crew or cargo)
Drydocking
1. Haul vessel
2. Securely block vessel.
3. Lauch vessel (Coast Guard representative shall ensure watertight integrity of vessel and test all propulsion machinery before launch).

1. Pressure wash hull
2. Record Stern Tube Bearing Clearances

Forward Deck Welding Repair
1. Complete electrical isolation IAW T14000.0
2. Clad weld 8-inch crack in forward deck plating (3/16 5456-H116-AL ALY PL).
3. Conduct NDT on new welds IAW with industry standards
4. Reconnect electrical IAW T14000.0
5. Pictures provided in enclosure (1).

Contractor Preps, Primes, and Paints
1. Recoat Hull. Prime as needed.

Complete Engine Swap of Port Engine (IAW MPC: A15001.D)
1. Tow reel will be removed prior to arrival.
2. Coast Guard will disconnect all required electronics.
3. Contractor will remove and install all interferences.
4. Contractor will remove and replace PORT main diesel engine.

4. CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE WORK: If additional work items are found, contractor shall report findings immediately before work continues via CFR along with commercial estimate of necessary work to be completed outside the original SOW.
5. AFTER AWARD OF THE CONTRACT: The contractor must immediately notify the contracting officer’s representative of intended start date. The work shall be done in accordance with the specification.
6. ORAL MODIFICATION: No oral statement of any person other than the Contracting Officer shall in any manner or degree, modify or otherwise affect the terms of this contract.
7. WORKMANSHIP: All work shall be accomplished with the best standard practices, and by workmen thoroughly experienced in the required trades. The work shall be supervised by experienced personnel and shall be satisfactory to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
8. PERMITS: The contractor shall without additional expense to the government, obtain all appointments, licenses, and permits required for the prosecution of the work. The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
9. CLEAN UP: All HAZWASTE, trash and debris shall be removed from the site and or recycled as applicable. The job site shall be left in a clean and neat manner.
10. UPON COMPLETION OF WORK: Contact the COR to arrange for inspection/acceptance of work.
