About this file
This is a Statement of Work for system maintenance and repair services on a Riegl terrestrial lidar unit (VZ-2000i). The Government Furnished Property, estimated at $120,000, was purchased in October 2020 and has been experiencing gaps in data collection, triggering the need for the manufacturer's recommended two-year system maintenance. The vendor must perform maintenance at its own facility within a 42-day period of performance, with a delivery date of March 12, 2026 (date of award).
The contractor must complete 19 specific maintenance tasks including unpacking and cleaning, functional checks, firmware upgrades, laser output power measurement, range testing, recalibration of multiple optical and sensor components (optical plummet, range-finder, internal compass, orientation sensors, and inclination sensors) at the RIEGL test field, desiccant cartridge replacement, system flushing with dry nitrogen, camera calibration for up to two lenses, interface testing (LAN, 100MB, 1GB, USB Camera, USB port), preparation of calibration and test certificates, comprehensive cleaning of the scanner and carry case, and repacking for shipment. The acceptance criterion requires that the lidar unit no longer experience gaps during data collection and will work as needed upon return.
