2. The Reverse Engineering and Critical Tooling (REACT) team at Tinker Air Force Base was tasked with trying to find a vendor who could supply the with the Fluorosilicone Spacers. During their search one vendor supplied a prototype, Allied Plastic Supply, LLC. The spacers prototype was not a perfect fit, so the requested a second prototype from Allied, via Government Purchase Card on 7 March 2024. The second prototype was received on 16 April 2024. The prototype was acceptable. Allied is the only coontractor that can produce the Fluosilicone Spacers. To contract with anyone else would require going back to the REACT Team and to try and find another contractor.

3. The proposed sole source contractor is the only contractor that can satisfy the Governments requirement.

Company name: ALLIED PLASTIC SUPPLY, LLC 10828 Shady Trai Dallas TX 75220-1306 CAGE code: 4F0P8 Type Business: Small

5. The Government will continue to monitoring the market for any additional vendors that sell the required Fluorosilicone Spacers to try and avoid future single source acquisitions.

6. I have determined, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), that the circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available.
