About this file

This document contains a sole source justification for a federal contract award. The National Cancer Institute awarded a contract to an unknown vendor on June 30, 2022 for an unknown amount. The contract is for maintenance services of three motor movements, imaging parameters, and image analysis controlled by proprietary image software for the vendor's IVIS Lumina Optical systems. As the systems and software are proprietary to PerkinElmer, they are the only qualified source able to provide original parts, updated software, and certified technical engineers for operation and maintenance. No other parties expressed interest in response to the May 2022 notice on SAM.gov or the market research conducted. The contracting officer will determine price reasonableness based on independent estimates and historical data prior to award.
