• Section F.1 This item qualifies under FAR 9.206-1(a)(2) and the requirements of FAR 9.202(a) are not applicable.

Due to the com-plexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, can be considered approved sources for this item.

Category III capability is permissible.
• Section F.3 The provisions of FAR 9.206-1 and -2, as supplemented, apply. In accordance with AFMCFARS, 1 July 97, Part 5309.206-1(e)(1), Notes A and B apply. Qualification requirements were established prior to 19 Oct 84.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AFTER 19 OCT 84
Justification for Qualification Requirement (JQR) is required.
• Section F.1 Prequalification of sources is essential to maintain high quality and maximum operational safety. The requirements of FAR 9.202(a) apply.
• Section F.2 (a)_____ Qualification requirements are set forth in MQR-848 for 761s or RQR-848 for 762s. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, can be considered approved sources for this item.
