Synopsis
PRON: D17H1196D1. The Government proposes to acquire on a One-Time Buy contract a quantity of six (6) NSN: 6130-01-609-3298, Part Number: 13646190 applicable to the M-D6 Weapon System. Production Quantity will be 6, no test required, a delivery schedule of 240 Days After Receipt of Order with deliveries to: SR W0H9 US ARMY AVN & MISSILES CMD, AMCOM FLET MGT CENTER AFMC, HOLBROOK RD BLDG 738, FORT BLISS, TX.
79916-5801.
This requirement is a Sole Source procurement to QUASAR POWER & TECHNOLOGIES INC.
DBA MILL POWER SOURCE, CAGE 0B7R6. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100.

The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part. This code is used when the Government did not initially purchase the data and/or rights.
Adequate technical data is available for this acquisition. All offers must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website:
http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casl_cmo_home and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.

GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. NO DOCUMENTATION IS BEING RELEASED WITH THIS
SOLICITATION. ACQUISITION DOCUMENTATION IS SOLE SOURCE TO THE
RESTRICTED SOURCE OF SUPPLY.
NOTE 22:
The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
