“The cartridge receiver shall be sidewall mounted external to the extinguisher shell. The cartridge receiver shall be designed so that it will remain attached to the shell during exchange and replacement of the gas cartridge.”

“4.7.8 Corrosion resistance. The extinguisher and cartridge guard in position, shall be locked in its mounting bracket and placed upright in a salt spray solution in accordance with ASTM B 117. The test shall be conducted continuously for 480 hours with wet and dry cycling periods of 24 hours each. During a dry period the fog shall be turned off and the chamber be opened.”
