About this file
This document includes a special packaging instruction and a related federal contract opportunity solicitation. The special packaging instruction provides detailed requirements for cleaning, drying, packing, marking and preservation of a linear directional valve. The valve must be preserved internally and externally with operational lubricant and wrapped in cushioning prior to bagging and containerization. The related solicitation is for 259 each of the linear directional valve, with an option for 259 additional valves. The solicitation was released on March 9, 2022 by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, with a closing date of April 8, 2022. The solicitation allows for the use of a reverse auction pricing technique. Contractors must register and complete reverse auction training to participate.
