MIL-STD-2073-1D AND THE APPLICABLE CONTAINER SPECIFICATION.
B. APPLY TO ALL UNPAINTED OR UNPLATED METALLIC SURFACES.
C. FORM FIT WRAP TO ITEM THEN SECURE WRAP USING ASTM D5486, TYPE V, CLASS 1 TAPE.
D. FABRICATE OR OBTAIN MATERIALS LISTED IN BLOCK 20 AND MATERIAL CHART ON PAGE 2. THE FOLLOWING NOTES CONTAIN
INFORMATION FOR FABRICATION AND APPLICATION OF PACKAGING MATERIALS.
FABRICATE PAD ASSEMBLY "1" (QTY. 1) BY SECURING PAD "A", PAD "B", PAD "C" (QTY.2), PAD "D", PAD "E", PAD "F", AND PAD "G"
TOGETHER, USING A SUITABLE WATERPROOF GLUE, AS SHOWN ON PAGE 9.

E. THE DOM CONTAINER SHALL BE CLOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM D 1974 CLOSURE METHOD 2B6. A-A-883, TYPE II TAPE MAY
BE USED INSTEAD OF TAPE SPECIFIED IN REQUIRED METHOD.
THE ASTM D6251 CONTAINER SHALL BE CLOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTAINER SPECIFICATIONS.
