Purchase Description for Weld Camera (JML Doc # 50298059)
(1) Common nomenclature;
(2) Electrical data, if any;
(3) Dimensions, size, or capacity, (minimums and maximums);
(4) Principles of operation;
(5) Restrictive environmental conditions;
(6) Intended use, including location within an assembly and essential operating conditions;
(1) Welding Camera
(2) Camera and camera controller output signal shall be compatible with the NTSC standard. The camera or camera controller shall utilize a 110-120 VAC power source. The output of the camera or controller shall be compatible with the NTSC standard and have an S-Video or HDMI connector.
(3) The camera shall include a minimum of 20' of cable from camera to controller. The camera housing dimensions shall be 5/8" diameter maximum by 3" long maximum.
(4) The camera observes the welding process, a filter may or may not be used, then outputs a signal to the camera controller. The camera controller outputs a signal to a monitor for remote viewing of the welding process.
(5) The camera and controller must have no data recording, no wireless, and no networking capabilities.
The camera and controller must require no software or computers.
(6) The camera shall be able to view a gas tungsten arc welding process with and without an arc established with no local adjustments to the camera body; i.e. if a filter is used, the filter must be operated remotely from the camera controller. Focal distance range shall include 2" to 6". Field of view shall be within 20-30 degrees. The camera shall have the ability for a user to install and remove a right angle attachment. The camera shall be capable of air and liquid cooling and be designed for operation in environments up to 500 degrees F. The camera mount shall include a 1/4"-20 UNC threaded hole.
The camera and/or controller shall have a variable intensity light source. The camera shall have the ability for a user to install and/or replace protective lenses.
