Text version

A vendor has asked for the correct description for CLIN 0005. The MNS is missing the type of ducting (TR-FR, EF-Fr, etc).

“The MNS for CLIN 0005 states “LENGTHS PER ATTACHED SPEC”; at the bottom of the MNS there is a note which states “SPEC SHEET FOR EACH SIZE OF HOSE IS ATTACHED TO IT’S RESPECTIVE JML ON MRQT”. Based on this note, the MNS will not be updated.

Per JML 82774015, the type of ducting being required is Thermoplastic Rubber – Fire Retardant 6” (TR-FR 6”).”

A vendor has asked the following: Could you tell me what the pressure and temperature the ducting needs to be rated for?

“Negative Pressure is required to be 16 in./hg.

Working Pressure is required to be 10 PSI.

Temperature Range is required to be -60F to 275F.”

What does it mean in the product description of these three items where it states "unlocked"?

“The term “unlocked” means there are no camlocks installed on the ends of the hose. The equipment that the vent ducting connects to is a direct connect, and does not allow for camlocks.”
