Required Machine Dimensions:

Weight, pounds 70, Width, inches 30, Depth, inches 60, Height, inches 37 Machine Specifications:

The portable boring machine will consist of following specifications: A designed for our application Tapered boring bar with tool carrier, 22.5 inches long, 2.5 inches in diameter, and tapered 1/8 inch per foot, a Bolt Hole Boring Machine with custom aluminum non-marring standoffs, axial standoff clamps with 5/8 inch-11 X 1 inch SSSFP, 27 to 60 inch OD Coupling Diameter, 24 inch long Strong Back, inches 24, 2.5 inch boring bar Bearing Hanger, and reversible Mechanical axial feed, 3.44 inch diameter 18 inch long Tapered plug gage, 10 horsepower Hydraulic Power Unit with 230 volt electric supply, 50 foot hydraulic hose, and 2.2 cubic inch Motor, Accessories/Tooling, Metal Shipping Container, Microbore tooling kit, and 10 Spare inserts.

All standard equipment required for proper operation of the milling machine (such as special tools) must be furnished.

All words on instruments, control panels, and plates must be in the English language.

Characters must be engraved, etched, embossed, or stamped in boldface on a contrasting background.

All plates shall be corrosion resistant. A label plate containing the PCB Certification information must be permanently and securely attached in the vicinity of the manufacturer’s identification plate.

A lubrication plate shall be permanently and securely attached to each machine. The plate shall contain the following information:

Points of lubricant application, Servicing interval, Type of lubricant, Viscosity, Military or Federal Specification for each lubricant (If applicable) Size and type of each lubricant filter A nameplate shall be permanently and securely attached to each machine.

The nameplate shall contain the information listed below. If the machine is a special model, the model designation shall include the model number of the basic standard machine and a suffix identified in the manufacturer's permanent records.

Nomenclature, Manufacturer's name, Manufacturer's model, designation, Manufacturer's serial number, Power input (volts, total amps, phase, frequency), Contract Number or Order Number, Date of manufacture.

Deliverables:

Operating and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.

Three (3) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy(s) of O&M Manuals must be provided with the machine. O&M Manuals shall contain technical information, specifications, instructions for the operation, maintenance of the machine and recommended spare parts list. All copies of technical data must be legible and written in the English language.

Technical Data shall contain at a minimum:

A. Data must enable an average journeyman mechanic to operate, program, maintain, and repair the equipment.

B. Complete instructions and information for all equipment, components, assemblies, subassemblies, attachments, and accessories.

C. Operating instructions including programming requirements, pre-operational checks, start up, shut down and emergency shutdown procedures.

D. Maintenance and service instructions, including all preventive maintenance schedules, and lubrication charts.

E. Trouble-shooting guides.

F. Parts list containing: illustrations, part numbers, part nomenclature, original manufacturer, cross reference numbers, and recommended spare parts, including quantities.

G. Energy control procedure, in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.147, to bring equipment to a zero energy state for maintenance.

H. All mechanical and electrical schematics with a table of contents showing discrete components block diagrams, wiring diagrams with inputs and outputs identified system electrical interface documents, and drawings for the specific model of all machine equipment/drives/controls supplied.

3.1.3 PCB Certification. Written certification from the manufacturer that the equipment contains no detectable PCBs (less than two (2) parts-per-million) shall be provided. The certification must be on manufacturer’s letterhead, and signed by a company official who is empowered to provide same. A PCB label plate stating the PCB compliance certification must be supplied and attached to the equipment.

One Year Warranty on Parts and Labor with Installation by Contractor. Twelve (12) months from signature of Acceptance Handover Protocol. Seller will, at its sole and exclusive discretion, either replace or repair any machine or part defective in workmanship or material, at no charge to the Buyer. Transportation charges are covered by Seller. All warranty repairs must either be performed by, or authorized by Seller.

To obtain warranty service, Buyer has to contact Seller´s Service Department in written form and include information about serial number, date of acceptance handover and description of faults with photos or other documentation. Official Service contact information is part of machine Manual.

Materials or parts alleged to be defective must be returned to Seller, at Seller’s request.

After the warranty repair or replacement of a defective part, Seller warranty for such part must continue for ninety (90) days or for the remainder of the Original Limited Warranty, whichever is longer.

Workmanship. Workmanship of the machine shall meet all requirements specified herein and must be of a quality equal to that prevailing among manufacturers producing equipment of the type covered by this purchase description.

Examination. The Boring machine must be examined to determine compliance with all requirement of this specification.
