A. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS:
1. INSPECT PRESERVATION AND UNIT PACK IN ACCORDANCE WITH MIL-STD-2073-1.
2. INSPECT THE PACKING IN ACCORDANCE WITH MIL-STD-1186 AND THE APPLICABLE CONTAINER
SPECIFICATION.
B. SEAL ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS WITH CAPS/PLUGS OF THE APPROPRIATE SIZE.
C. APPLY WRAP TO THE SMART DISPLAY UNIT. DO NOT SECURE WITH TAPE.
D. FABRICATE ITEMS “A”, “B”, AND “C” FROM THE CHART ON PAGE 2.
E. ASSEMBLE PACKAGE AS SHOWN ON PAGE 3.
F. CONTAINER CLOSURE SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CLOSURE 2B6, OF ASTM D1974.
G. PLACE CONTAINER IN BAG. CLOSURE SHALL BE BY HEAT SEALING.
H. ADDITIONAL MARKING SHALL INCLUDE ELECTRONIC SENSITIVE DEVICE (ESD) SENSITIVE DEVICE
MARKING AS SPECIFIED IN MIL-STD-129.

I. PACKING:
LEVEL A PACKING SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED USING CLEATED-PLYWOOD BOXES, OVERSEAS TYPE, CONFORMING TO ASTM D6251.
LEVEL B PACKING SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED USING EITHER FIBERBOARD BOXES, WEATHER-
RESISTANT CLASS, CONFORMING TO ASTM D5118 OR TRIPLEWALL, CORRUGATED FIBERBOARD BOXES, CLASS CGWR, CONFORMING TO ASTM D5168 OR PALLET BASE CONTAINERS, TYPE III, CONFORMING TO MIL-B-43666. CLOSURE, SEALING, AND REINFORCEMENT SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFIC, APPLICABLE METHODS OF ASTM D1974, OR AS REFERENCED IN THE CONTAINER SPECIFICATION.
WHEN THE TOTAL QUANTITY TO BE SHIPPED TO THE SAME DESTINATION EXCEEDS 125 POUNDS, EXTERIOR PACKS WITHOUT SKIDS SHALL BE PALLETIZED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MIL-STD-147.
