STATEMENT OF WORK

Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge

Limestone Road Base

1. General:

1.1 Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge needs 3,000 tons of Grade A limestone road base delivered to Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge. Roads are combination of maintenance roads and improved all-weather rocked roads. Refuge staff will specify turnaround locations to avoid unnecessary environmental damages and violations of the law.

Any Grade A limestone road base delivered to Anahuac NWR exceeding the required 3,000 tons shall be at the expense of the contractor.

1.2 Purpose/End Application: Procure and deliver 3,000 tons of Grade A limestone road base to Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge.

1.3 Contractor Qualifications and Required Specifications:

• Deliver three thousand (3,000) tons of Grade A limestone road base to Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge.

• Spread dump Grade A limestone road base with belly dump trailers on existing improved and unimproved roads

• Run time will be from 7:00am till 4:30pm Monday thru Friday

• Will only be allowed to turn around in specified locations as determined by refuge staff

• Will end deliveries at 3,000 tons (Any Grade A limestone road base delivered to Anahuac NWR exceeding the required 3,000 tons shall be at the expense of the contractor.)

• Minimum of 10 loads per day.

2. Place of Performance and Period of Performance: Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge

2.1 Located at 4318 FM 1985, Anahuac Texas 77514 29°34’59.28” N, 94°31’18.77W

2.2 Period of Performance is date of award to November 29, 2023.

2.3 Normal duty hours Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. In the event of emergencies, Contractor shall provide contact information.

2.4 Non-duty hours include week nights, weekends, and Government holidays (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King JR.s’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).

3. Deliverables and/or Delivery Schedule:

• Contractor and refuge management must coordinate the number of loads and the timing of loads at least 24 hours prior to delivery.

• Delivery needs to fall within during weekdays and during normal duty hours.

• Deliver three thousand (3,000) tons of Grade A limestone road base via belly dump trailers

5. Evaluation and Acceptance

The contractor will be evaluated as detailed herein. Government acceptance is contingent upon: Delivery of Grade A Limestone Road Base.
