SPECIFICATION SHEET

Mountain Home AFB, ID OSS Fiber Project 23 February 2023

1. GENERAL: The 366 Communications Squadron located on Mountain Home AFB, ID requires fiber optic cable material. This material will be installed between the GATR site and Bldg 900.

2. The LOM MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS: The items to be purchased (at a minimum) comply with the following salient characteristics:

2.1 Physical Characteristics

2.1.1 Qty 2 x 24 Strand Pigtailed Splice Cassettes or equal

2.1.2 10,000 feet of 48 Strand Single Mode Armored Filled Cable or equal

2.1.3 Qty 4 x Installation Harnesses

2.1.4 Qty 20 x Fire Block Insulating Foam Sealant - 12oz can or equal

2.1.5 Qty 2 x Label Maker Tape

2.1.6 Qty 3 x Wire Pulling Lubricant - 5 Gallons

2.1.7 Qty 7 x Reels of 3,000 ft Mule Tape or equal

2.1.8 Qty 4 x Swivels

2.1.9 Qty x 24 packs of Cable Tags (5 per pack)

2.1.10 Qty 2 x Rolls of Velcro or equal

2.1.11 Qty 1 x pack of 8 inch Cable Ties (1000 per pack)

2.1.12 Qty 1 x 4 Unit Closet Connector Housing

2.1.13 30,0000 feet of 2in 4 cell detectable or equal

3. INSTALLATION: The SCONT work center shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items needed to setup/install the project.

3.1. The SCONT work center shall install all requested equipment in accordance with (IAW) manufacturer’s specifications.

3.2 The SCONT work center shall ensure proper operation of the installed fiber optic circuit.

3.3 Any equipment not functioning properly IAW manufacture’s specifications shall be diagnosed and repaired by the SCONT work center.
