Specifications for Rodent Behavioral Testing System for Arkansas Children’ Nutrition Center, Little Rock, AR Rodent Behavioral Testing System will be used for different types of behavioral tests in rodents. It will help our unit to assess the memory, cognition, novel object recognition, sociability etc. One apparatus can be easily modified to perform tests like hole board test, open field test, novel object recognition test etc.

Rodent Behavioral Testing System Specifications:

Open Field Enclosure – 40 cm x 40 cm, square clear Hole Board Insert – 40 cm.

Base plate: Universal automated base plate with photobeam (IR) Array Photo-beam array – height adjustable Base Plate color – grey, non-reflective Camera – USB 3.0 Camera bundle with camera mount clamp, camera boom connector, camera boom (36 inch) rod, Camera Boom Foot Mount USB – 3.0 Hub, 4-port with power adapter Use – automation of several tests: Open field, Novel Object recognition, conditioned place preference, hole board Features:

1) Complete automated system to make behavioral tracking convenient and affordable for a range of standard behavioral tests.

2) Multiple apparatus can be incorporated into a single computer, tracking multiple mice at one time.

3) USB 3.0 Camera will provide better quality video when multiple systems are connected.

4) Different types of tests can be performed using a single apparatus, by simple removing/adding few parts.

5) software with built-in graph and statistical analysis

6) Unlimited free version of software for viewing results and protocol design allowing analyzing the results using different computers.

7) Unlimited software updates to new versions.
