Heavy Equipment Trailer Purchase Location: BLM Battle Mountain District Office Issuing Office: BLM Nevada State Office Specifications
General:
The BLM Nevada Battle Mountain District Office has a requirement for the purchase of one (1) each; 44 Ton capacity, 16 tire, expandable axles, non-motorized removable neck heavy equipment trailer.
Delivery:
FOB Destination, to include all fees and cost. Note Estimated Delivery Date on quotes.

Salient Features:
· 16 tire expanding axles, configured in two axles
· Wide design trailer neck, extending to the outside rail dimensions of the trailer deck
· Extended neck for 9’ kingpin instead of standard 8’
· Oil bath hubs
· Tire size shall be 235/75R17.5 with mounted spare included
· Air operated disc brakes
· Deck shall be 19’ in working deck between the neck and leading axle
· All lighting shall be L.E.D. in configuration
· “Meritor P.S.I. Air Pressure System,” or equivalent. (Must be installed during build)
· Fully screened in gooseneck
· 38” flat pad between axles for loaded equipment
· One (1) full set of “clip on” heavy duty outriggers to facilitate over-width loads
· The two outer deck boards on each side shall be of Apitong wood, standard within the industry
· The trailer shall be configured with an “excavator well” between the rear axles to facilitate large excavator booms
· Trailer must be in compliance with DOT standards Additional Requirements:
General note: Additions/ attachments identified below shall be provided as well as all required connecting hardware, equipment, parts, adapters, plumbing, including installation, along with owner/operator manuals to be work ready.
· Air pressure system must installed, complete and operational upon delivery
· Trailer shall be painted White in color, w/ 2 coats epoxy primer and 2 coats of acrylic polyurethane paint or similar standard
· D Rings shall be installed both sides of trailer; Front, middle, rear of working deck, and rearmost of the trailer
· Locking compartments, located in the front corners of the neck. The compartments must lock with a padlock, rather than an integrated locking latch.
· Non-powered removable neck. NOT hydraulic powered, removable by non-powered, mechanical means
· One (1) set rear loading ramps, non-mounted, suitable for loading heavy tracked equipment
· One (1) set of smaller ramps to facilitate front loading
· Wear plates installed on the curve of the Trailer neck to protect against equipment implements from excessive wear
