SPECIFICATIONS

EQUIPMENT TRAILER

MONTANA FIRE ZONE/CHARLES M. RUSSELL NWR

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife, Montana Fire Zone, 333 Airport Road Lewistown, MT 59457 has a request for an equipment trailer to haul masticators to fuels reduction sites.

REQUIREMENTS:

A bumper pull equipment trailer with dual axles rated for a minimum of 20,000 GVWR, and weighing no more than 4,000 lbs.

Specifications include:

• 20’ deck length, minimum payload capacity 15, 000 lbs

• Minimum 8” channel framing, rubber infused wood (Blackwood) decking

• 2 5/16” adjustable coupler

• Dual axles rated for 10,000 lbs each

• Electric brakes

• Knife edge rear

• Front tool box (locking)

• Minimum deck width 82” (between fenders)

• Maximum deck height 30”

• Minimum of 8 (4 each side) “D rings 5/8”

• Full length stake pockets

• Battery power package installed

• Minimum 12K winch installed at front of trailer

• Minimum 16ply tires w/ minimum load rating G

• Full size spare tire (load range G) with mount

• Flush mounted LED lighting the meets all DOT safety requirements

• Heavy duty suspension

• 12k drop leg Jack (spring loaded)

• Hydraulic dampening tilt system

• Minimum 4’ stationary deck at front

DELIVERABLE OR DELIVERY SCHEDULE:

If the vendor is within a 300-mile radius of 333 Airport Road Lewistown, MT 59457 the Government will pick up equipment. If vendor facility is greater than 300 miles from 333 Airport Road Lewistown, MT 59457 the vendor must ship trailer via flatbed truck within 90 days of completion and include the cost of transportation in their quote.

PLACE/DELIVERY AND PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:

Once awarded vendor should complete build within a 120 days, if possible.
