About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of a Benchtop MRI System. The key specifications for the benchtop MRI system include a 0.55 Tesla permanent magnet, gradient strength over 250 mT/m, ability to measure T2 relaxation data and collect MRI images of meat samples, and software for data acquisition and analysis. The solicitation is issued by the USDA Agricultural Research Service, Southeast Area, with a NAICS code of 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing). The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the RFQ and specifications, using a tradeoff between technical acceptance, past performance, and price. Quotes must be received by July 19, 2024, 4:00 pm Central Standard Time. Questions are due by July 17, 2024, 3:00 pm Central Standard Time.
