Sterilization Cart Specifications/Capabilities/Provisions

1) The Unit currently possesses a side-dump sterilization cart manufactured by Siebring Manufacturing; it has recently become non-functional and the costs of repairs are excessive. Our non-functional cart utilizes interchangeable floor covers and several other parts that can be replaced when they become damaged or defective. It would be much more cost effective going forward to purchase the needed new cart from Siebring because they are the only company that offers carts with parts that are interchangeable with our current non-functioning cart, thus providing significant cost savings as repairs are needed.

2) Cart must have side doors that allow access to load/unload items that need to be sterilized. Side dump, no hydraulics. Stainless steel floor grates with a replaceable floor.

3) Cart must be able to withstand temperatures of 160-200 °F to ensure proper sterilization of soil, waste materials, and/or equipment.

4) The hose (provided by the manufacturer) used to connect the cart to steam source must be able to withstand high temperatures but still be flexible enough to maneuver into place. The couplings attached to the end of the hose must also be somewhat resistant to oxidation.

5) The capacity of the steam cart must be large enough to allow enough soil to be pasteurized with each use. Minimum volume must be 32 cubic feet, maximum volume 54 cubic feet.

6) Cart floor-panel must be ventilated sufficiently to allow steam to flow freely from the bottom, permeate through soil, and reach the tarp above to ensure items are sterilized correctly. Tarp should be provided by the manufacturer.

7) Cart floor-panel should be removable to replace as needed whenever damaged or rusted. Replacement parts should be readily available and cost-effective.

8) Prefer items from Siebring Manufacturing or equal. Must verify that they are Made in America.

9) Part Numbers from Siebring Manufacturing:
