Specifications Growth chamber for strawberry nematode experiments
PG034-3 Plant Growth Chamber, Brand Name or Equal Technical requirements:
· Light source capable of 800-1200 umol/m2/s intensity at each shelf
· Two to three shelves (tiers) for 4-inch strawberry pots. The PG034-3 can be configured to have a maximum of three shelves, depending on user preference. Three shelves would increase the minimum number of plants needed for experiments.
· Temperature control range 50°F - 85°F (10°C - 30°C)
· Humidifier system to increase relative humidity inside chamber to enhance conditions for foliar nematodes to 80% relative humidity.
· A 5-gallon carboy can be added to the PG034-3 for humidity control without direct water source.
· Interior capacity minimum - 28ft3
· The PG034-3 Shelves are 28.75" W x 25.50" D.
