About this file

This document contains special packaging instructions and a related federal contract opportunity notice. The packaging instructions provide requirements for wood packaging material used for shipments worldwide, stating that all wooden lumber, pallets and containers must be constructed from debarked wood and heat treated to specified temperatures to prevent the spread of invasive species. The related federal contract opportunity is a sole source notice for spare ballscrew assemblies for the C-5 weapon system from Beaver Aerospace & Defense. The requirement is identified by national stock number and includes the contracting agency as the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center.
