About this file
This document summarizes a justification for other than full and open competition and a related federal contract award notice. The justification document identifies a need for an electro-mechanical actuator identified by national stock number 2920-01-477-1320, which is restricted to a single approved source, Governors America Corporation. Efforts to increase competition included a market survey, sources sought notice, and plans to publicly post the solicitation. The subsequent award notice reveals the Defense Logistics Agency awarded contract SPE7L420C0012 to Hawkeye Innovations LLC for 561571.20 to acquire the actuator in accordance with the governing source controlled technical data.
