Based upon the technical certification on file, technical data is not available and cannot be developed to permit full and open competition. The data presently available reflects the minimum needs of the Government.

Adequate price competition is expected from the two independent manufacturers of the item, I/A/W FAR 15.404-1(b)(2)(i), COMPETITION.
MARKET RESEARCH INCLUDED SEARCHING FOR SIMILIAR MANUFACTURERS THAT HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO PRODUCE LONGERON USED ON
F16 AIRCRAFT. THE ONLY APPROVED SOURCES OF SUPPLY LISTED IN THE AMPL AND POT IS LOCKHEED MARTIN CORP/CAGE 81755 AND
AEROSPACE COMMERCIAL/CAGE 1XKR3 (P/N 16B2101-32). MARKET RESEARCH FOR ADDITIONAL INTERESTED SOURCES WAS CONDUCTED
