STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
Forklift for indoor/outdoor use.
TYPE OF SERVICE OR COMMODITY: REACH FORKLIFT
1. Forklift Type: Reach Lift Truck Multi-Directional.
2. Scope of service or commodity: This equipment is required for warehouse everyday outdoor/Indoor areas of the Consulate.
3. Technical Specifications All technical specifications should meet or exceed the below requirements. Any models mentioned are for comparison purposes only, the offered product may differ from these models if it complies with the technical requirements.
a) Chassis: 5,500 lb. Capacity 48 Volt Electric Sit-Down Moving Mast Reach Lift Truck Multi-Directional
b) Load capacity: 5,500 Lb.
c) Fuel Type: Electric
d) Tire Type: Pneumatic for outdoor/indoor use
e) Mast: 232.0” MFH / 103.0” OAL / 74.0” FFH Triplex
f) Forks: Forks 5.5 X 2” X 43”
g) Side Shifting: Integral Sideshifter (+ / - 2.75”)
h) Height of overhead guard (cab): 90”
i) Retracted Mast Height: 90”
j) Lift height (fork height) 240” minimum
k) Forklift should not be taller than 90”
l) battery and charger included
4. Charger specifications.
a) Must be compatible with an electric capacity of 208VAC, 50Amp, 60Hz.
5. Other specifications.
a) All equipment must be in new condition, used equipment will not be accepted.
b) Technical sheet/manuals must be provided along with the vendor proposal. All proposals must specify the exact model quoted and all accessories considered with the complete pricing information.
c) Vendor should be able to provide assembly services of the forklift (if needed) at the new compound of the U.S. Consulate General Merida (Merida, Mexico).
d) Offerors shall include all shipping and handling costs as a separate line item in the quote. Any costs not specified in the quote will not be considered and will not be covered by the agency once an award is made.
6. Delivery Instructions.
a) Delivery address for this requirement is:
U.S. Logistics Center 225 S Vermillion Ave. Unit 93 Brownsville, TX 78521
b) Delivery time should be no later than 2 months after PO is awarded and must be specified in the proposal.
c) Complete address and purchase order must be printed on each shipment container, carton, box or package.
7. Warranty.
The Vendor must provide a 12-month warranty for the delivered equipment. Warranty must be applicable and serviceable in Mexico. The Vendor shall provide details on warranty support and procedures to follow when requesting warranty services. Warranty term shall begin after acceptance of the equipment. Warranty policy, installation manuals and tech support contact information should be delivered the same day the equipment delivery takes place.
This forklift will be used under the height and weight limitations recommended by the manufacturer.
