COAST GUARD STATION ST. CLAIR SHORES

17AUGUST2020

1.1 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT:

· Remove and dispose of shingles and underlayment down to deck

· Provide and install drip edge.

· Provide and install Ice/ water on eave edge

· Provide and install #15 felt on remainder of project.

· Provide and install standard color dimenensional shingle system.

· Clean up and dispose of project and related debris.

1.2 DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE COMPLETED:

· Station ST. Clair Shores Fuel Shed roofing properly remove and replace roofing

· Clean up and dispose of related debris.

2.1 SITE VISIT:

Those who desire access to the USCG Station St. Clair Shores facility for bidding or work are to contact DC2 Daniel McDermott, or MK1 Mark Zwick. Contractors are to arrange a start work date with USCG Station ST. Clair Shores

3.1 MILITARY REGULATION:

The contractor, his employees and sub contractors shall become familiar with and obey all station and facility regulations.

3.2 All personnel employed on the project shall keep within the limits of the work and avenues of ingress and egress. Personnel shall not enter any other areas outside the site of work unless required to do so in the performance of their duties and have obtained verbal permission from DC2 Daniel, McDermott or MK1 Zwick or the Station ST Clair shores officer of the day.

3.3 The contractor’s equipment shall be conspicuously marked for identification.

3.4 There shall be no smoking in any Coast Guard building and only in designated areas.

4.1 WORK HOURS:

The contractor shall perform all site work during the normal operation hours, 0700-1600 Mon-Fri except during federal holidays.

4.2 Any deviations from normal working hours will be discussed with DC2 Daniel McDermott and MK1 Zwick , and agreed upon by all parties concerned.

5.1 LABORER WAGES:

Quote must reflect hourly wages prescribed by the Department of Labor in the attached Wage Determination Document provided by the Station St. Clair Shores Contracting Officer.

6.1 CLEAN UP OF WORK AREA:

The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all trash and debris pertaining to the contract work from the limits of government property, as well as adjacent affected areas.

6.2 Disposal of HAZ MAT shall be in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations.

7.1 ACCEPTANCE OF WORK:

Prior to the acceptance of work by the Coast Guard the contractor shall arrange through DC2 Daniel McDermott a review of work completed to ensure work satisfaction as well as proper clean up. Completed work shall meet the written scope of work.
