IBM HARDWARE EVALUATION & REPAIR
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
1.0 BACKGROUND
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Dam Neck requires unit evaluation and repair of provided circuit cards.
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 The Contractor shall evaluate and repair two (2) 8886AC Bladecenter S Chassis, two (2) 7870AC1- BladeCenter HS22, one (1) 46C7191 BNT 10-Port 10Gb Ethernet Switch Module, and one (1) 44W4479 2/4 Port 1GB Ethernet Expansion Card.
3.1.1 The Contractor shall test the unit using Contractor provided diagnostic equipment.
3.1.2 The Contractor shall disassemble the unit as required to determine what components or components need to be repaired or replaced.
3.1.3 The Contractor shall repair the unit IAW OEM specifications.
3.2 The Contractor shall test the unit to ensure proper operation using Contractor provided diagnostic equipment.
3.3 The Contractor shall ship the repaired unit back to NSWCDD in packaging sufficient to protect the unit from damage during transit.
3.4 The Contractor shall coordinate with the technical point of contact (TPOC) identified below to identify the problems found during the evaluation and the steps necessary to correct them in order to complete this work.
*The Contractor shall not perform any services outside of the evaluation and repair. If any additional repairs are identified during the evaluation, the Contractor shall submit a quote to the TPOC and Contracting Officer for approval and subsequent contract modification prior to completing the repairs.
*The Government reserves the right to modify this contract at a later date to cover additional repair services/components identified during the initial inspection.
4.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
The Contractor shall evaluate, perform the repair specified and return the unit within six weeks of receipt of the unit to be repaired.
5.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT
The Government shall provide the two (2) 8886AC Bladecenter S Chassis, two (2) 7870AC1- BladeCenter HS22, one (1) 46C7191 BNT 10-Port 10Gb Ethernet Switch Module, and one (1) 44W4479 2/4 Port 1GB Ethernet Expansion Card, valued at $12,000.00 to the Contractor within 10 Days after receipt of the order.
6.0 TRAVEL
No travel is anticipated in support of this effort.
