STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Objective/Requirements

The purpose of this purchase is to acquire four reaction wheels to support attitude control for Dione, an in-house CubeSat mission.

2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs

The procurement is specifically for:

Three (3) flight reaction wheels One (1) engineering model reaction wheel End Item Data Package for each reaction wheel, including (but not limited to):

o Test data o Photographs o Component documentation

All reaction wheels shall comply with the following characteristics:

Momentum storage capacity of at least 30 mNms Fits within a volume of 50mm x 50mm x 40mm Command and telemetry interface: I2C Operate properly with an input voltage of +5V Mass: no more than 190g Torque output: at least ±2 mNm above internal losses while storing ±20 mNms of angular momentum

In addition, flight reaction wheels shall comply with the following:

EEE parts from lots screened for radiation survivability Meet performance requirements with interface temperatures of -40°C to +70°C Survive interface vibration loads of at least 12 Grms Have on-orbit heritage (demonstrated on-orbit operation) Draw no more than 2W when operating in vacuum

3. Place of Performance

Vendor facility.

4. Period of Performance Delivery of all items maximum of 6 months after award of contract.
