Statement of Work for JEOL Scanning Electron Microscope System Maintenance

1.0 Background:

1.1 The JEOL Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) has two different electron detectors (Secondary, and Back-Scatter) to permit extremely high magnifications (5,000x-100,000x) via electron imaging. This instrument is commonly used in investigations into component failures. The SEM allows the engineers to determine the origin and mode of failure.
