Statement of Work

INKS DAM NATIONAL FISH HATCHERY RADON MITIGATION FOR QUARTERS 2 AND 3.

General Information

Radon testing of Quarters 2 and 3 resulted in elevated levels above EPA standards. Tests concluded

Quarters 3 at an elevated level of 8.0 pCi/L and Quarters 2 at an elevated level of 6 pCi.L.

Radon mitigation work to be performed (in accordance with industry standards)

1. Perform work for the purpose of reducing radon in air in accordance with industry standards.

All Mitigation Systems guaranteed to bring Radon levels to below 4 Pico curies.

2. Conduct radon test to verify the validity of the radon mitigation system and warranty. You must wait for at least 24 hours to run a retest for radon levels after radon mitigation. After 24 hours testing, retest within 30 days of the new mitigation system’s installation. Radon Testing

Report shall be conducted by State certified technician. Contractor shall include the certification with the radon testing report.

Attached is a reference site plan showing proposed Quarters 2 and 3.
