About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details NASA Ames Research Center's procurement of a Safran Skydel GSG-8 GNSS Simulator and associated software for the Starling technology demonstration satellite swarm mission. The primary product is a GSG-8 PNT/GNSS Simulator with 4 high-quality RF ports, a built-in Linux computer, Skydel software, 4 SDRs, 2 GPUs, and capabilities including high-dynamics simulation, multi-vehicle scenarios, GNSS threats resiliency testing, and support for 2000+ signals/channels.
The comprehensive package includes additional components such as a power cord, license dongle, and multiple signal simulation licenses for GPS and QZSS systems (L1 C/A, L1C, L2C, P-Code), along with optional features like HIL, extended limits, and multi-instance capabilities. The performance will take place at NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California, with a 10-week period of performance after receipt of order. The solicitation is a sole-source procurement intended for Safran Trusted 4D Inc., with responses accepted until 5/28/2025 to evaluate potential competitive alternatives.
