About this file

This statement of work describes requirements for an Iris stereo vision system and modal amplified hardware and software. The system must include two cameras capable of acquiring full-field vibrational measurements in three dimensions or axes to be visualized with motion or displacement amplification. Key capabilities include an amplification factor of 1-500x, a sample rate of 180 fps in HD or up to 1,300 fps at reduced resolution, and a minimum XY-axis displacement detection. The lenses for the two cameras must be 12.5mm, 25mm, or 50mm and calibrated specifically for each camera. The related federal contract opportunity is a special notice from NASA's National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center seeking the Iris stereo vision system and modal amplified hardware and software described in the statement of work for quick modal characterization of test articles.

Statement of Work

Summary:

This is a stereo vision system with 2 cameras to acquire full-field vibrational measurements in 3 dimensions/axes to be visual with motion/displacement amplification. The Modal Amplified feature which allows for the sole source rational due to it’s capability of a quick modal characterization solution of a test article which estimates the structural frequencies and some mode shapes similar to a modal test or GVT (ground vibration test).
