Statement of Work Bruker
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor will provide OEM trained engineers to perform yearly preventative maintenance/calibration, with at least 1 site visit, for the Matrix and emission head, annual OPUS software upgrades, unlimited service parts, and unlimited remote diagnostics for a 12-month period, located at 12990 US HWY 441 NORTH in Canal Point, FL 33438 in the CPS area.
Covered components will include:
1. Bruker Matrix-F FT-NIR Spectrometer, Equipment# 12282390, Serial# 1430
2. Q412/A NIR Sensor Head
3. OPUS software upgrade
1.1 PHYSICAL SECURITY: The Contractor shall be responsible for safe-guarding all Government property. Prior to the end of each workday the Contractor is required to secure their equipment and leave the site prior to lock down of the facility. The Government is not responsible for loss or damage to the Contractors equipment during the contract.
| 1.2 | HOURS OF OPERATION: The Contractor's scheduled performance of these services must fall within the normal business hours of the Sugarcane Field Station. The Sugarcane Field Station’s normal business hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. |
| 1.3 | PROJECT SCHEDULE AND DURATION: The contract shall run 1 year or 12 months from the Notice to proceed and may be extended up to five years. |
2.0 BACKGROUND: Preventive maintenance has not been procured for this instrument since it was purchased in 2015.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:
Equivalent of OEM AB Assurance Plan to include but not limited to check of the following to ensure optimal performance of the instrument:
1. The Contractor shall provide yearly preventative maintenance/calibration for Matrix.
2. The Contractor shall provide unlimited services and travel, unlimited service parts, and unlimited remote diagnostics, with priority response time.
3. The Contractor shall provide OPUS software upgrade.
4. The Contractor shall cover the emission head and Matrix for a 12-month period.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment for preventative maintenance, calibration, software upgrades, services and parts, diagnostics, travel, and priority time response.
Contractor will provide telephone support to the customer location.
Repair parts are to be included unless otherwise stated in this statement of work.
4.0 Government Furnished: The Government shall provide, without cost the facilities services listed below.
1. Government furnished utilities will be provided where available.
2. Government furnished restrooms will be provided.

6.0 Travel: One (1) preventive maintenance service visit and OPUS software upgrade will be provided by the contractor. All service visits will be coordinated with the CPS Operator at ARS.
7.0 Contractor’s Key Personnel: Only factory trained engineers are to perform any service procedure on the Bruker Matrix, Emission head, and OPUS software.
8.0 Security Requirements: A copy of an official government photo ID (State-issued driver’s license or ID card, passport, green card, etc.) must be provided no later than one week before arrival of contract service technician(s) except in the case of emergency service, were only the name of the technician provided via email or telephone will be necessary. Security access to the ARS facility will be provided based on this identification requirement.
9.0 Data Rights: N/A
10.0 Section 508 – Electronic and Information Technology Standards: Not applicable.
