Statement of Work

NAVAIR PATUXENT RIVER MD 4.3.4.3 Nondestructive Inspection Branch

Hardware and Software maintenance and support agreement for NSI X5000 w/XWT-225-SE

Contractor shall provide hardware and software maintenance and support for the NSI X5000 w/XWT-225-SE for the base agreement period 5/28/2020 – 5/27/2021, with an Option for the periods of 5/28/2021 – 5/27/2022, 5/28/2022 – 5/27/2023.

The Contractor shall provide a preventive maintenance program that includes two 12 Point

Inspection performed on a bi-annual basis by factory trained technicians and authorized imaging specialists.

The 12 Point inspection system maintenance shall include:

• Clean, inspect X-Ray Tubes, replace O-rings and adjust to manufacturers specs.

• Clean, inspect, reapply dielectric grease to HV cables and set compression.

• Clean, inspect and lubricate manipulator.

• Clean cooler and test flow and temperature switches.

• Clean and verify adjustments on the HT generators to prolong tube filament life.

• Test and adjust Safety Interlocks and Safety Lamps.

• Test power supplies and adjust to factory specifications.

• Test and adjust shutter.

• Service vacuum system.

• Inspect for proper cable drape.

• Verify emergency stop operation

• Perform a Radiation Safety Survey with documentation.

Upon completion of the 12 Point Inspection and Preventive Maintenance the assigned technician/imaging specialist shall provide documentation of findings and recommendations.

The Contractor shall provide preferential service scheduling over standard repair service requests.

Contractor shall provide a 25% discount on service labor. Non-scheduled emergency service and scheduled onsite service visits performed by the Contractor shall be billed at $168.75/hr in lieu of the standard labor rate of $225.00/hr. Travel labor shall be billed at $90.00/hr. Labor prices shall not increase during the agreement period.

Contractor shall provide a 10% discount on service parts excluding X-Ray Tubes, and Imaging devices. Replacement parts shall be provided with a 90-day warranty.

Contractor shall provide unlimited telephone and remote technical support for hardware and software from Contractor’s technical staff.

Contractor shall provide unlimited software updates via download link within the one-year agreement period. The software updates shall include service packs at no charge for all major and minor updates.

Contractor shall provide a software support agreement for two Volume Graphics License ID’s

(146987 & 168158) from the date of contract award to 5/28/2021. During the term of your agreement, the contractor shall provide a minimum of one software upgrade within the one year agreement period. All major and minor software upgrades including updates and service packs shall be provided at no additional charge.

Contractor shall provide a software support agreement for 3D Systems Geomagic DesignX

License Key 0423-17A3-082C-XXXX from the date of contract award to 5/28/2021.

Unlimited Phone and Remote Support from respective technical staff shall be provided for the agreement period for VGStudio MAX and Geomagic DesignX, as well as applicable integration with NSI Software.
