US Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District (MVK)

Gantry Crane Circuit Boards

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE

AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. This sources sought notice is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part

10 to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of all firms interested in participating in the competition to compete and deliver supplies under a fixed price contract for the MVK. This market survey is for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Mat Sinking Unit requires delivery of seven (7) DC

Power Supply Boards, ten (10) DC power Connect Boards and ten (10) LAN Control Boards, of

General Electric brand name or equivalent, as described in Attachment A, Circuit Board

Specifications. These boards are used for the operation of gantry cranes. The objective of this sources sought notice is to determine if there are interested business sources capable of delivering boards that meet the requirements.

The Government is seeking to identify business sources under North American Industry

Classification System (NAICS) 423690, Other Electronic Parts and Equipment Merchant

Wholesalers. All interested, capable, qualified and responsive contractors are encouraged to reply to this Sources Sought.

1. Contract Information: The Vicksburg Contracting Office (VCO) is soliciting a positive response from all interested, capable, qualified and responsive contractors who are able to provide circuit boards that meet the required specifications as described in Attachment A, with a delivery of all items on or before 30 September 2020 to the address below:

2. Submission Requirements: The Government invites all interested, capable, qualified and responsive contractors with the capabilities necessary to d e l ive r c i rcu i t boa rds t ha t meet or exceed the stated requirements, as indicated in Attachment A, to submit specifications of products their company can provide that meet the requirements as described in Attachment A. The company's

CAGE Code and DUNS number shall also be included with the submission. Contractors MUST have an active record in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.

This sources sought is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this sources sought. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this Sources Sought.

All interested firms, registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) under NAICS code

423690 have until Friday, August 14, 10:00 am (central time) to submit the following information:

1. Please provide your company name, address, point of contact with corresponding phone number, e-mail address, CAGE code and DUNS number.

2. Clearly confirm your company business size, and if applicable provide your socio-economic indicator designation as HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned

Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, or Woman-Owned Business. Note that a

Wholesale Trade or Retail Trade business concern is categorized as a non-manufacturer and deemed small if it has 500 or fewer employees and meets the requirements of 13 CFR

121.406 (Code of Federal Regulations). If your firm is a Small Business, provide affirmation that your firm can comply with the following minimum requirements: FAR

52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, requires that a small business concern perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees.
