FOR
Mobile Expandable Shelter System
THIS IS A MARKET RESEARCH/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SEEKING INFORMATION ONLY.
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY SEEKING RESPONSES IN ORDER TO
DETERMINE PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACQUISITION. THIS IS NOT A
SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A
COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR ULTIMATELY
AWARD A CONTRACT, NOR DOES IT RESTRICT THE GOVERNMENT TO A PARTICULAR
ACQUISITION APPROACH OR OTHERWISE REIMBURSE RESPONDENTS FOR ANY COSTS
INCURRED IN PREPARATION OF A RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE.
Requirement is for a deployable, hardened facility for missions in various austere environments for security during operations to support command and control. ISO container-based expandable shelter designed to maximize space efficiency and provide ultimate flexibility in transport, deployment, and configuration. An expandable shelter system that is designed to precisely fit in the 463L single pallet cargo position transportable by sea, land or air. Designed to interface with the 463L rail system aircraft certified load compliant for C-130, C-17 and C-5. Readily deployable by two personnel in 10 minutes with no jack or winches required, built in ECU, and is four-way forklift able. Must have self-supporting expandable floors that do not require ground support.
Shelter will be shipped directly to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.
Salient Characteristics:
1. 8'Hx8'Wx20'L CSC certified Expandable shelter with mechanical room accessible via cargo doors
2. (1ea) Weather tight front entry door with cipher lock
3. (1ea) Sidewall entry door
4. Set of four manual leveling jacks and deployment tools
5. Manually deployed expandable walls
6. Fold out steps for roof access with grab handle
8. 120/208 3-phase 60A electrical panel service with grounding rod
9. (1ea) CO/Smoke detector and emergency lighting with fire extinguisher
10. Center ceiling mounted LED lights w/black out
11. (1ea) 2 ton LG air conditioner with heat and remote, 23,000BTU (Model #LW2412HR) Single Phase
12. (8ea) Surface mounted wing wall raceway 5ft sections with 3 duplex outlets, 1 GFCI outlet, keyhole mounted
13. (8ea) Wall mounted, Ethernet raceway with 2ea CAT6 jacks per raceway
14. Passive air vents on rear wing walls and front wall exhaust fan
15. (2ea) Data pass through port
16. (10ea) Stainless steel floor d-ring tie down
17. (1ea) Power Cable, 60A 50ft with Amphenol connectors
18. Fit in the 463 L single pallet cargo position.
The anticipated NAICS Code is 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing.
This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and is not a Request for Proposals or Quotes (RFP or RFQ) or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any services. Responses to this sources sought are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government reserves the right to determine how it should proceed as a result of this notice. Furthermore, those who respond to this sources sought should not anticipate feedback with regard to its submission. The Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this sources sought. All costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be solely at the responding party's expense. The information provided in this sources sought is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Please carefully review the attachments and respond according to the directions stated below. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area of expertise, certification, authorization and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this notice articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. Responses to this notice are strictly voluntary.
