NOTICE:

This is a sources sought notice; there is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for solicitation will receive no response. This Sources Sought notice is published for market research purposes only. This market survey is conducted to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements for providing a Deicing Simulator for Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. A list of salient characteristics is included to provide respondents a better understanding of the needs of Spangdahlem Air Base and the respondent's potential ability to meet the Government's requirements.

DETAILS:

All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract. This acquisition will be set aside for vendors located within Germany. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 333310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Prospective contractors are cautioned to ensure that the proper NAICS code appears in their SAM. The Air Force has not yet determined the acquisition strategy for this requirement.

All interested parties shall submit a capabilities package. Interested contractors shall submit up to a maximum seven page capabilities document. The capabilities package shall be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements.

Include the following in your statement of capabilities:

(a) Company Name

(b) Address

(c) Point of Contact

(d) Telephone number

(e) E-Mail Address

(f) CAGE Code

(g) Web Page URL (if available) and

Please submit one (1) electronic copy of your response to ryan.baudouin@us.af.mil no later than 13 July 2023 at 1500 Central European Summer Time.

Please note that some emails may be blocked; therefore, follow-up via telephone at 314-452- 1361 is strongly recommended to ensure receipt of your submission by the Government, if receipt was not already acknowledged.

CONCLUSION:

The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this sources sought nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote, nor does this issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or part any industry input as a result of this announcement. If the Government decides to award a contract for this effort, a solicitation will be issued at a later date.
