MARKET SURVEY ANNOUNCEMENT

Child Care Facility Parking Lot Expansion Denver ARTCC, Longmont, CO The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a need to increase parking availability for the child care facility. The intent is to resolve the issue of inadequate parking for the child care facility by demolishing existing adjacent lawn areas and replacing those areas with new asphalt pavement. A new sidewalk will also be installed to connect the interior visitor’s parking lot to the existing sidewalk leading to the child care facility. Please see attached scope of work as detailed in the Project Specifications provided as Attachment 1 to this market survey. The FAA is contemplating soliciting this requirement under Acquisition Management Services (AMS) construction provisions and clauses.

The purpose of this market survey is to:

1. Solicit statements of interest and capabilities from businesses and,

2. Obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) certified firms (provide a copy of the SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable), or women-owned small businesses.

Additionally, interested businesses are welcome to submit questions and comments. These submissions may be used to further develop the requirement and SIR package. The FAA does not anticipate publishing responses to submitted questions and comments, but reserves the right to follow up with individual businesses.

The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. Decisions may be made based upon the information provided by respondents to this market survey. The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time.

The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor’s expense.

The FAA requests the following from interested vendors:

1. Provide business name, CAGE code, and business size for NAICS 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, and any applicable socio-economic categories.

2. Capability Statement - This document should identify:

a. Contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity performed within the last three years (elaborate and provide detailed information and past performance).

b. Number of years in business

3. Feedback, questions, and comments concerning the attachments to this market survey.
