STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT

Procurement and Installation of Harbor Master Radar System 733 LRD Harbor Master Office, Ft Eustis, Virginia

1.0 OBJECTIVE. Procurement and installation of BRAND NAME OR EQUAL Furuno harbor master radar system for the HMO tower located on Ft Eustis, VA.

2.0 SCOPE.

2.1 The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required for the procurement and installation of a new BRAND NAME OR EQUAL Furuno marine radar system, to include removal or the existing system. Upon removal and completion of installation, existing system and any pertinent manuals for the new system will be turned into the Harbor Master office.

2.2 Execution of work shall be IAW the applicable contract documents, clauses, and any installation requirements.

2.3 Any individual performing technician services shall have up-to-date certifications or training on the installed system(s). The contractor shall provide a list of the personnel performing the work and documentation of their certifications to the On-Site Representative.

2.4 Work Area Requirements. The contractor shall clean up all debris and discarded materials resulting from their operations at the end of each workday. All waste materials shall be disposed of off FT Eustis unless otherwise approved.

2.5 There shall be no deviations or substitutions without prior approval from the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall not comply with any order, direction, or request of any government personnel unless it is issued in writing and signed by the Contracting Officer.

3.0 SECURITY.

3.1 All work shall be performed during hours as coordinated with an on-site representative. The on-site representative will ensure the Contractor employees and subcontractors have access to the site five days a week, 0600 to 1700, as a minimum, excluding US Federal holidays. The on-site representative will also ensure access at other times, including weekends and after-duty hours after receipt of a service call.

3.2 The Contractor shall be responsible for safeguarding all government equipment, information, and property provided for Contractor use. At the close of each work period, government facilities, equipment, and materials shall be secured.

4.0 MATERIALS.

g. Hook-up existing sensors previously connected to x7 radar into new FAR2228BB (does not include additional cable runs to hookup new sensors except for SCX21).
