Lowell National Historical Park
Trash Collection, Recycling & Yard Waste Service Specifications
1. Every week Provide and pick up one 30 cubic yard open top container to Lowell National Historic Park 220 Aiken Street, Lowell MA. On a weekly basis on Wednesday or Thursday between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. Unit price shall include disposal of up to 3 tons estimated weight per container. Container refuse shall include construction debris, household trash, and non- hazardous waste materials. On the First week of the project an empty 30 cubic yard open top container will be brought to Lowell National Historic Park 220 Aiken Street, Lowell MA, location as per direction of COR. For the entire year every time a 30 cubic yard open top container is to be emptied, an empty 30 cubic yard open top container must be left in its place so the park is never without a means to dispose of its trash. At no point can the park be without a 30 cubic yard open top container. A Total of (52) 30 cubic yard open top containers will be used/emptied for the entire year.
2. Provide and pick up a 20 cubic yard recycling closed top container to Lowell National Historic Park 220 Aiken Street, Lowell MA. On a bi-weekly basis (every two weeks) on the second and fourth Wednesday or Thursday between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. Unit price shall include disposal of up to 2 tons estimated weight per container. Container refuse shall include single stream recycling materials (all white and colored types of paper, envelopes, brochures, magazines, manila folders, newspapers, aluminum cans, clear and colored glass and plastic beverage containers #1 through #7, and corrugated cardboard) For the entire year every time a 20 cubic yard open top container is to be emptied, an empty 20 cubic yard open top container must be left in it place so the park is never without a means to dispose of its trash. At no point can the park be without a 20 cubic yard open top container. A Total of (26 each) 20 cubic yard open top containers will be used/emptied for the entire year. Location as per direction of
COR.
3. Provide and pick up one 30 cubic yard open top container to Lowell National Historic Park 220 Aiken Street, Lowell MA. First container to be delivered on the first week of October, on a Wednesday or Thursday between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. and picked up upon notice by the government on a Wednesday or Thursday between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. The remaining containers shall be delivered on the first Wednesday or Thursday of April, May, June July and August, and picked up upon notice by the government on a Wednesday or Thursday between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. Unit Price should include disposal of up to 8 tons of yard waste per container such as leaves, grass clippings, and tree branches. Location as per direction of COR.
4. Provide a cost per ton for refuse disposal. This unit price shall be used when actual refuse disposal tonnage exceeds the estimated 3 tons per container, and shall be billed per fraction or percentage of the tonnage.
5. Provide a quarterly report of gross weight for trash, recycling, and yard waste. To be Emailed to the COR in an excel format.
