Questions and Answers SINLEC17Q0011
1. Regarding Sol. #: SINLEC17Q0011, we wanted to inquire if we could provide freight rates to the destination country rather than Belgium or Maryland? If we purchase the vehicles from our standard supplier, it will be more cost effective to ship the units directly to the country of their destination, which we believe to be Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania or Uganda. Please advise is this is possible and if so, which ports should they be shipped to?
Only the two listed locations will be considered for shipping
2. Regarding Delivery Location, would it be acceptable to offer F.O.B. origin in Muscat, Oman?
Reason being as this is where our vehicles are typically located.
No only the 2 locations in the SOW
3. We would also like to know to confirm if the FOB pricing will be based on Hagerstown, MD or Antwerp, Belgium? Or both?
Provide pricing to both locations please
4. Can you indicate if this contract is an all or none basis? Meaning we have to bid on all of the CLINs or none?
All or none, no partials
5. For the eight trucks you are referencing in the document that custom fabrication of troop seating is required. I am very familiar with the styles indicated but I would also require a sketch or blueprint of what you may be looking for, in order to make an accurate price assessment of the additional work needed.
There are no additional details then what was provided in the SOW. The seats will have to safe and function as intended (Carry troops and equipment).
