SCOPE OF WORK (SOW)
FOR
Station San Francisco 1 Yerba Buena Rd.
San Francisco, CA. 94130 510-437-3454
1. SCOPE: Contractor shall provide general labor, equipment (crane services), and facilities to haul out US Coast Guard 45 FT Response Boat Medium (RBM) 45667 pressure wash hull, remove all interferences and ready PORT Main Diesel Engine for delivery to repair facility. Provide 45 days storage of RBM. Then install rebuild engine and all interferences.
2. COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION, AND COMPLETION OF WORK: Upon acceptance, the contractor shall commence work within 30 days and work diligently to complete the entire project and have vessel ready for use by 45 working days from scheduled haul out after contract award.
3. INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

1. Hull Length 43’ 9”
2. Length Overall 44’ 9” (w/ rub rails)
3. Hull Beam 13’ 8” Beam Overall 14’ 8”
4. Highest Points: Fixed 13’ 1”, Unfixed 20’ 9”
5. Hoisting condition 36,700 LBS (boat, full fuel, outfit; no crew or cargo)
PRE-Inspection
1. Conduct joint material inspection pre-contract execution. Coast Guard representative and contractor representative shall be present. Document discrepancies and report to unit Engineer Petty Officer (EPO).
Drydocking
1. Haul vessel
2. Pressure wash hull
3. Securely block vessel.
4. Provide 45 days storage
5. Lauch vessel (Coast Guard representative shall ensure watertight integrity of vessel and test all propulsion machinery).

POST-Inspection
1. Conduct joint material inspection post-contract. Coast Guard representative and contractor representative shall be present. Document discrepancies and report to unit EPO.
4. CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE WORK: If additional work items are found or extension of the contract is required, contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer immediately before work continues via CFR along with commercial estimate of necessary work to be completed outside the original SOW.
5. AFTER AWARD OF THE CONTRACT: The contractor must immediately notify the contracting officer’s representative of intended start date. The work shall be done in accordance with the specification.
6. ORAL MODIFICATION: No oral statement of any person other than the Contracting Officer shall in any manner or degree, modify or otherwise affect the terms of this contract.
7. WORKMANSHIP: All work shall be accomplished with the best standard practices, and by workmen thoroughly experienced in the required trades. The work shall be supervised by experienced personnel and shall be satisfactory to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
8. PERMITS: The contractor shall without additional expense to the government, obtain all appointments, licenses, and permits required for the prosecution of the work. The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
9. CLEAN UP: All HAZWASTE, trash and debris shall be removed from the site and or recycled as applicable. The job site shall be left in a clean and neat manner.
10. UPON COMPLETION OF WORK: Contact the COR to arrange for inspection/acceptance of work.
