About this file
This is a Statement of Work for NASA's modernization of the NASA Integrated Operations Center (NIOC) at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. NASA seeks contractor services to design, implement, and validate modernization efforts for enterprise-level network and security operations capabilities. The scope of work includes assessing current state operations and infrastructure, developing a modernization roadmap for future state NIOC with integrated tooling, gray space monitoring, and predictive/behavioral analytics, implementing an initial one-year work effort (1 WYE) modernization phase with provisions for expansion upon successful demonstration, and ensuring compliance with Federal and NASA operational and security standards. Key technical requirements encompass modern integrated architecture design, advanced monitoring and analytics capabilities, automation for routine tasks and alerts, scalability beyond initial implementation, adherence to Federal and NASA cybersecurity policies, and provision of lessons learned and subject matter expertise from similar Federal Agency engagements.
The period of performance is twelve months from contract award, with the initial phase consisting of 1 WYE and expansion contingent upon successful demonstration. Work is to be performed onsite at Marshall Space Flight Center, Building 4207, Room 111, 4200 Rideout Road, Huntsville, AL 35803, with some travel required. NASA will provide current state policies, procedures, drawings, diagrams, facility access, personnel access as needed, and government-furnished equipment as deemed necessary. The NASA Technical Point of Contact is Jon McAfee at jon.mcafee@nasa.gov or 256-426-8652.
