About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details NASA's requirement for Spherical High-Entropy Alloy (HEA) powder for additively manufactured printing projects. The specific powder composition is 59.5Nb-24.3Ti-2.4Al-3.8Cr-5.9V-2.6W-0.7Mo-0.8Hf (wt%), with a particle size distribution of 15-53 microns and a spherical morphology. NASA seeks 20 kg of this specialized powder, with a strict lead time of 7-8 weeks and a requirement to include shipping charges in the quote.

The solicitation (80NSSC25908646Q) is set aside for small businesses and is issued by the NASA Shared Services Center, with Eric Brizes from NASA Glenn Research Center serving as the primary point of contact. The procurement is for a brand name or equal product, specifically targeting the development of demonstration components for NASA projects, with precise chemical composition tolerances and specific powder characteristics critical to the successful fulfillment of the contract.
